lpl financial
software engineer intern· 2026
incoming. lpl is one of the largest independent broker-dealers in the us. i'm looking forward to getting into a larger engineering org and working on systems that handle real financial data at scale.
traderspost, inc.
technical analyst· present
when i first started the goal was to better understand user behavior, broker coverage gaps, and any bottlenecks for new users. spreadsheet, modeling, and working through hundreds of user accounts and tickets. good exposure to what product-facing data work looks like at a small startup. now modeling risk and successful customers with clustering models and other ml techniques.
clark associates, inc.
database engineer intern· 2025
spent most of my time in sql. stored procedures, index tuning, query plan analysis. worked across mssql and postgresql with liquibase managing schema migrations. the interesting part was understanding why certain query patterns fell apart at scale and how index design choices compound over time (used a lot of sentry plan explorer).
